Does everybody think the stripers are slow this year? The past few years we slayed em on artificials by the tressle above rosewood and down along the bars. This year has blown. year before last we were catching 50 or 60 an evening. now i am lucky to catch one or two. what gives? anybody else having a slow year? I dont do live bait.

He caught these in the bear creek area, near chapin using blue backs. Free lining some and down rods around 20-30 feet.

Maybe I am wrong, but isn't it illegal to use bream (or game fish) for bait?

No its not, you just have to include the bait you use in your bream limit.
