Default Can I over seed clover

Planted 3 clover plots are farm last year, one is Imperial Whitetail and the other 2 were a clover mix (red/ladino, chichory and something else )

The 2 mixed clover plots look decent but thought of putting some more seed to them, can I just over seed with imperial clover(or some other type) or should I just plow and replant

Going to fertilize with 0-20-20 next couple weeks

Yes you can overseed- we do it regularly, particularly when our clover gets burned up by a dry summer.

How would you do it? Life happened and I don’t get to take care of mine like I usually do. Can you just top sow imperial and wheat when it’s wet. I have sprayed and killed the weeds that were there but clover is sparse in some places.

Yes,...and then I would mow it. That will help with germination.

How many pounds to the acre since it’s already established some?

Wait till the existing stuff is 10-12 inches and then broadcast it in heavy. Then come back like Catdaddy said and clip it. Those clippings will cover the seed and it will germinate. Also the existing taller clover will give the new seed some shade
