    Default Youth Dove Hunt

Every year I say I am going to join a dove club and every year I procrastinate until it’s too late. I have only hunted a public field once but it was later in the season. Is opening day at a youth field gonna be a disaster?

I would guess not but it is a public dove field. You'll at least cut out a lot of the crowd by rule that gotta have a youth with you, so it shouldn't be too bad.

One of the more popular fields in my neck of the woods is a youth hunt for opening day. But technically it isn't cause the adult can shoot as well, so long as you have a kid with you of course.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!
