    Default Savage axis xp

Bought one for my son over the weekend, ran the bolt on the one they handed me off the rack. Didn’t inspect gun in the box until I brought it home. Anyway, my son can’t run the bolt on it, has one hell of a catch almost as the bolt hits the upright position. It’s been oiled, and ran over and over trying to break it in a bit.
I saw where they are making a bolt kit for them, wondering if anyone has gone this route and how big of a pain in the ass it may be. The gun is a shooter, will rag a hole out at 100 yards with factory ammo.
