    Default Boat painting project

Just figured I’d put this on here. Started a paint project on my 14ft fastcraft.
Trim was painted and cleared so i had to sandblast it off due to me not wanting to take it off the boat. Got started sanding tonight with 120. Gonna go over again with 220 and paint with black total boat wet edge and clear with red flake. This is my first time painting a boat or much of anything so any tips would be great

Looks like you've got it figured out! I've never messed with marine paint but I've been spraying urethane, polyurethane, acrylic and alkyd enamels, and polyesters (all automotive) for going on two decades. If there's anything I can help you with, just ask.

Shouldn’t need any clear over wet edge. You can roll and tip that stuff fairly easy if you don’t have access to a spray system.
