I'm upstate and currently loaded with birds. It's the most I've ever seen on my field 3 weeks before the season. I haven't mowed any strips yet but the sunflowers are 90% weed free and the first seeds are just starting to hit the ground so I'm sure that's the difference. Years past the weeds took over and I didn't see birds start showing up until I mowed and tilled. Hoping things stay the way they are!

Don't have a field but not seeing many birds. Also they are cutting corn everywhere.
