Default Saturday Evening Dinner in Columbia?

Will be in Columbia on Saturday and taking the family out to dinner.

Which restaurant of these 4 would you select and why: Saludas, Cola, Smoked, Motor Supply Co.

None…..Private Property in Lexington. Best steak in Columbia area and also Cajun style cooking. Plenty of different options to choose from on the menu as well.

You won't go wrong with any of those mentioned.

But Motor Supply Co. would be my first choice.

Another for Colas. Walk over to Bourbon for a post dinner drink!

We went a month ago after a late meal at Hendrix and I was impressed. Fantastic selection!

    I’m Going with motor supply.

Colas is All right, but the food at motor is way more creative and much better. Colas is good, but it ain’t motor supply. If you’re taking kids then they might like colas better, bjt if you got a family that likes good food and can appreciate it for what it is, motor all day.

None of what is on your list will disappoint, take what you can with Reservations available. I just went to Smoked last week for the 1st Time, Steaks were "small" compared to advertised size, BUT they were very well cooked. Interesting preparations and presentation.

I wouldn’t go to Smoked. I wasn’t impressed. Any of the other 3 would be great

    This is pretty solid advice.

Get out of Motor Supply before "Social" gets cranked up. You will not want your family around there.

I appreciate the feedback. It will be either Colas or Motor Supply Company, dependent upon availability. I had to look up “Social”. Everyone in this group is an adult and I plan to be long gone before that place gets rolling.

If you are taking the whole family, shoot across the Gervais St. bridge and go to Black Rooster. Great food and good views.
I'm going to heaven for the weather and hell for the company.

Be dangerous, unpredictable, and make a whole lot of noise.
