Ironically Rockhill just hosted the corn hole world championship. Hard to believe horse shoes was replaced by a bean bag game.

Horse shoes are making a comeback. There’s a bar here local who has tournaments weekly, and they have a really good turn out of top notch players. Pays out well too

In today's world you'll get some goob who stands too close to the box and will take a shoe to the shin and try to sue the bar.

But if they can fling axes then I don't see why pitchin shoes would be any worse.

    That’s good hear.

I think frisbee golf began at Winthrop so no surprise. Then Cherry Park had the softball tournaments, while down in Edgemore the washed up guys still played real baseball. But there we are more malt liquor afterwards than lite beers. Diversity before it was cool.

Man Ol man. Those softball tournaments were some fun years. We used to go all over playing. Most fun I ever had I a tournament was the Black Worlds in Concord. Probably 2009 or 10. Them boys know how to have fun. Smoking a pig in the parking lot, drinking beers between games.

Lol. We played church ball until we were asked not to. Co-Ed team of all former baseball and softball players. We went to the city league and cleaned house. That was around 2002. I started playing men’s league and tournaments. Played until 2012 or so and hung it up. I’’ll still play a league game here and there if someone needs an extra. When we played the Black Worlds, there was a rule that said no team could have more than two white people on it. Me and my buddy were the only 2 white guys among 40 teams. Like I said, most fun I’ve ever had legally. Lol

Cherry Park certainly paid itself many times since the 90’s. The Money was more fun then though.
