Can't be too careful. Glenn is taking appointments and would love to see your snake...
GREENVILLE, S.C. —
A Greenville Zoo animal is doing well after cancer was found in his jaw during a regular checkup.
The Greenville Zoo team said that, in June, an abnormal growth was found in the jaw of the 24-year-old, 10-foot-long Burmese python Lister.
The zoo's vets took immediate action and discovered it was a cancerous mass.
"We are happy to say that the cancer has been removed, and Lister is doing well in the care of his zookeeper," the zoo said on Facebook.
