    Default Kubota tractor issue

I've got a 2015 Mx 5800. Recently had a guy here in town do a full service on it. He also installed a front facing light bar and two rear facing led pod lights. Last Saturday I mowed for about 3 hours then suddenly the tractor cut off. I tried to crank it back up and it just kept turning over. Waited a few minutes and turned it over and it finally cranked up and the rpm went up and down for about 5 seconds then it cut itself back off. Waited a few minutes and it wouldn't start. Finally it would crank up and it would maybe run 10 seconds or 10 minutes then eventually cut back off. I limped it back to the trailer and carried it back home. I have had an issue in the past with the seat not making full contact with the safety switch underneath. I did zip tie it down. Which I don't like to do but I'm trying to eliminate things.

Fast forward to yesterday. I went to bush hog with it behind my house to test it out. I mowed for a little over an hour and it did great until it cut off again and did the exact same thing. This morning I walked back there to at least try and get it to run long enough to get it back to the house and it only lasted about 30 feet at a time before cutting off.

There is an error code on the dash that reads E-94 which I found out seems to be some type of electrical issue. I'm not sure if this was caused by tapping into the wiring for the light bars or something else un-related. I haven't had the light bars on at all really. It almost feels like a fuel issue. Not sure why it would run for an hour yesterday before giving me problems

    Air filter?

Typically electrical issues will get worse as the machine gets hot. (After running it for a few minutes and it getting up to temp). You can pretty easily rule out most fuel issues. If it’s throwing a code that is noting something electrical I’d look at what he did and see if you can find anything that stands out. Other than that, I’d let him know about it and see if he’d be willing to dig around in it

PTO switch based on a few searches. I don’t have SPN info for Kubita handy.

We had an issue with ours a couple years ago. Seems like it had something to do with the cutoff on the seat. Dealer kept trying to put it off changed the battery and other bullshit. We won’t use the Columbia dealer anymore because he’s a crook.

I don't know much about tractors other than I can run basic stuff. I definitely don't know shit about diagnostics but I'll give it my best shot. First paragraph, first sentence. Third paragraph, first sentence.

The green company wanted $100 for a coolant over flow tank for my 5103 that I replaced for $15.

If that error code indicates the seat safety interlock switch, instead of zip tying it down, I’d bypass it altogether since any short could be inside the switch wiring itself and not in the ‘switch’ part.

Started with the obvious and pulled several fuel filters. One had a dead spider in it. Gonna change big fuel filter and every in line filter I can then go from there. Seat switch will be next.

Could it be lemon and condiment juice on the wiring?

You shouldn't comment you can barely operate a zip tie

I'm a wizard with zip ties; it's the other stuff that trips me up.
