    If interest rates go back to historical averages the economy will collapse. The economy of the last 20-30 years has been built on the availability of cheap credit, not by growing jobs and wages.

    At a 3.5 when we did ours after our construction loan. That was 2 1/2 years ago.

    I think it was more of decisions made by corporate leadership to sell more products. The overall economy wouldn’t have grown nearly as much without people being able to finance a lot of items.
