Wylie is toast most every weekend after Memorial Day. You can fish just need to clear out by noon when the fools come out. Norman is even worse.

Did Hartwell yesterday and it wasn't bad far as I'm concerned. My brother said Saturday was a shit show. Apparently some guy in a pontoon went full speed through Portman. I'm guessing it was a rental.

we were on Hartwell Sunday and Monday.

It was busier up near Clemson than it was south of Portman.

My wife commented that it seemed gas prices had cut the cruising crowd a good bit.

5 until dark was pretty calm Sunday on Santee. Most had had enough of the 95 degree weather. I stayed home yesterday.

I was surprised at the lack of boat traffic on santee Saturday, it was nothing compared to Memorial Day.

From what I have seen/heard Saturday and Sunday were the worst. Monday was fairly calm as folks had to be at work today. At least that's my reasoning.

I'm near Dreher Island. I didnt put the boat in until around 6:30 last night and went out for a hour. After that storm rolled through it was pretty nice out there with no traffic
