I'm not sure I'd call most of that "food".

Sadly, $155 a week barely buys any actual food. I won't even mention what it costs us to feed our family on actual food these days.

Red meat aint getting cheaper. Neither are raw fruits and vegetables.

Still should be able to buy more junk food than that for $155.

Our grocery budget (things you buy at the grocery store may or may not be food) is $1500/month for a family of five.

I’m with Curlee, I can’t remember the last time I bought a vegetable now. As for hamburger, it’s been at least 20 years.

A protein shake to reach 1 gram of protein per be.
One fruit shake to get 5 servings (1/2 at a time).
3 veggies and a lean meat at dinner.

Occasional cheat with a homemade desert.

    No alcohol and unsweetened tea/water.

I have no idea of cost except feel better and a bmi of 22 vs what it was.

If I plan outdoor work, eggs and bacon for b/f.

We have a family of three(with one on the way).

My wife does order pickup online and we are fed for a week, with leftovers to take to work at least 3-4 days, for around $100 a week.

Not sure how she does it.

Same here, except slightly less for a family of 3 with another one coming in about a month.

Such a shame that these days it's significantly more expensive to eat real food than processed trash.

We're working towards buying land to raise some livestock and have a bigger garden. We can't do crap on the .20 acres in this annoying subdivision now. Waiting on prices to go back down a bit.
