    Default 89

After all the trials and tribulations of the past 12 months, a little time to celebrate and be joyous. My mom turn 89 on Saturday. Although we weren't able to get everyone together until Sunday, it was a wonderful day. Although it was a few somber moments, not having my sister there, the sight of mom holding her great granddaughter (my late sister's granddaughter) brought joy to is all. The first picture is mom, late 1950's. The last is from Sunday.

Definitely a beautiful lady. You are truly blessed. My mother passed away 23 years ago and there is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her.

Agreed with all who’ve said she’s a lovely lady. Glad you got to take that picture. There’s a chance to tell future generations her story and yours. Cool!

    Excellent stuff.

I lost my mom at the end of May. It was unexpected as she was only 61.

Give that awesome lady a hug every chance you get.
