    I initially thought of a bear, but hogs is probably more likely in that area.

    Looked like blood to me, and smaller gouges. Admittedly, I'm inexperienced with hogs.

    I don't know about SC but the deer are catching hell on the roads up here. There are weeks that it looks like the rut is on there are so many dead deer on the roads. Seen three fresh kills on the way into work today.
