I don't hate the version without the wings. Might try and make my own.

I'm an engineer specifically in the field of automation. I swear one of these days I'm gonna invent the next motorized duck hunting "something" and retire a millionaire because duck hunters are absolute suckers for buying the new thing.

I know a fella that has a strutting decoy on a remote control car. He can pull a gobbler from a long way off with that thing.

When I took industrial electronics and mechatronics at PTC I mounted a turkey fan to a servo motor for a class project and had it hooked to an arduino board, synced with a calling sequence and operated by remote.

    That thing had potential……

Run through or tape rubber decoy line to the wings and it will do the same thing. Cut it to length so it slaps the water as they rotate. Actually looks better than that.

Part of me wants to invent something and retire, the other part of me feels strongly that we don't need anymore technology in hunting. All it does is make things easier. With the dire situation of turkeys and waterfowl, and really everything but coyotes and hogs, in South Carolina, we don't need to make it any easier to kill them.

A sow Hog decoy with an "in Estrus" scent spraying device would be a good idea.
