    Default Push pole

I need a short pole to help push the sneak boat over logs in the swamp. Paddle isn’t cutting it. What brand do y’all recommend?

I made one for my old jon boat using a avery push pole foot and I believe a 1.5" closet rod cut to my desired length.

I thought about something like this with a cut down pool brush handle. Didn’t know if there was something better out there though.

I hate to endorse anything with the Avery name on it, but this does do a great job, no matter how long the pole is. You just need to decide if you want a single length, or a telescoping handle.

Buy one of the short super stiks. Then you can use it in your jon if you want to.

I filled a fiberglass shrimp pole with expandable foam. Works good for the $10 I have in it. I got an extra pole you can have if you ever get up this way.

I broke the foot off of mine after throwing it up on the bank. Emailed company about buying a replacement. Owner sent me his number and said to call him. He sent me a new one at no cost.

This is what I did probably 10 years ago and it has held up to light use over the years.
