    Default Power Pole

I have a new bay boat going in the mold in about a year. I absolutely hate the way Power Poles look but completely understand their functionality. My kids say we have to have two Power Poles. I would love to hear all opinions. Thanks

I have a single PP and use it mainly at sandbar. I use the anchor feature of trolling motor more

On a new bay boat just get 2 installed

You can get by with one and use a push pole/anchor pin to keep from spinning when needed.

I would get 8 ft three stage tallons. The are no higher than the height of the motor.

I've had them for 7 years with zero problems.

I prefer the new minn kota raptors over the power poles every day of the week and on Sunday. That’s what will be going on the new boat. I previously had talons because I preferred actuated as opposed to hydraulic but they are heavy and the mounts were 600 each.

Get two of whatever you get. If you don't, you'll wish you did.

Get a shallow water anchor. I've had talons and power poles. Both good products and have pros and cons. Power pole is much easier to work on if you do have a problem. Regardless the functionality is almost a required luxury in my opinion

Get power pole... if you ever need service after the sale, you'll thank me. They are second to none.

    Edit... and get two.

I have a single 10’ blade and absolutely love it. While fishing in current, I drop it and let the current take the bow down stream. With two smaller boys, it makes anchoring a breeze.
