There is no perfect candidate . That said, I hope that Ron DeSantis gets the nod in 2024. We all need to get behind a good person, fund their campaign and go vote.

I would prefer 4 more years of trump with desantis VP. Then desantis will have a resume to tout in '28. Trumps only major mistake was who he allowed into his inner circle. He needs to bring people into DC that have never been there before.

The only counter argument that I'll offer is that the Democrats in Congress are trying to impeach President Trump again simply so he can not run in 2024. They know he'd wipe the floor with them and they know he'd clean up the 3-letter agencies this time instead of being so nice and trusting.

most of us "like" trump. some more than others and i get that. I like him....i just dont like his "electability" at this point and its pretty damn important in the next presidential election. interesting to hear some comments about his "guilt" surrounding jan 6. I dont know what he was "guilty" of but agree its something....or at least can be made to look like something bad. not a good look, for sure.

The reason he hasn't declared is that he can pocket his appearance fees up until he declares his candidacy. My bet is that he won't run but will continue on the gravy train always flirting with the idea to keep his base energized ($$$).
