Without seeing them, yes, I'd be willing to bet you went overboard with the Miracle Gro, which is easy to do. Start watering them (tomatoes) the same amount every day and lay off the fertilizer. Not too dry and not soggy. You won't start seeing many blooms actually make for several weeks I'd guess, due to the heat, but hope by the time it starts cooling off, you'll have plants that able to start making.
Also, try and shade the tomatoes some, to get them out of the direct sunlight all day if they are in it currently. I've found tomatoes love shade in the mid/late afternoon, which also helps with sun scalded on tomatoes that are chest high right now.
Saltmuck is the voice, but i also have much more prolific heirlooms planting them w only 5-6hrs of sunlight. Best thing I have found for heirlooms is to plant earlier than you think, once the heat starts they are over. I typically try to plant 1st week of April and sometimes even earlier depending on schedule etc.
Nice Saltmuck!
They get shaded in the afternoon and I will hold off the MG Thanks

They should be ripe by the weekend.

Sometimes it can be so hot that they bloom but won’t set fruit. Another possible reason. Not sure what the exact temps are but we been pretty hot in my neck of the woods.
Yep, heat playing a part in setting fruit the last few weeks. I had to cover my plants a few times in April, but I try to get them in as early as possible to get ahead of the heat and bugs as much as I can. Picking a bucket full every day.
