Where to take a couple of old Ladies for lunch? Semi casual meaning I will wear some dang shoes, but not have to wear a tie...

Default Best lunch spot in Beaufort

Old Bull Tavern, Plums, Paninis, Q on Bay, or Saltus….all on or near Bay St.

    That’s in no particular order….

Plums or Paninis would be my top choice for a “ladies lunch”

Saltus is fancy, Q on Bay is a beer drinking BBQ joint with lots of TVs and some good food. Old Bull may actually not be open for lunch but I had to include it because it is one of my Top 3 favorite restaurants.

Yeah, I don't know if it's open for lunch.. but Palmetto Pride told me about Old Bull the first time that I've been down in years. It was lovely.

Old Bull, eh. Rob knows whats up.

I can't image taking these Ladies to anything called Shrimp Shack, knowing that I could probably live out of the dumpster of such a named establishment...

    No luncheon....

I am a huge Beedos fan. The old boondocks just reopened as Seaside Bar and Grill but I haven’t been there. Shrimp shack is a novelty.

There’s one on Bee’s Ferry Rd!

I regularly drive from Mount Pleasant just to eat there.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Lowcountry Produce for lunch, fo sho.

    Shrimp Shack sucks.

The rest of the stuff downtown is pretty well geared towards the weekend tourist.

I prefer to catch fish and cook for myself.
