Container ships do come through the Panama Canal to unload here, Florida, Savanah, and all up and down the East coast. What was weird looking about it? Was it a container ship or a ro-ro (roll-on, roll-off) car carrier? There were two ro-ros in Charleston harbor yesterday at the Charlotte Street docks where they load the new BMWs. They're pretty big, odd looking ships.
