Been here 4 years. I lucked into a 007-1 elk tag last year. I have a friend that hasn’t drawn one in 12 years…another friend hasn’t drawn one since I’ve been here.

Checked my draw results this morning.

015-3 either sex late season whitetail SUCCESSFUL
015-6 doe late season whitetail SUCCESSFUL
015-8 doe late season whitetail SUCCESSFUL
032-1 either sex antelope SUCCESSFUL
007-6 cow/calf elk SUCCESSFUL
007-1 either sex elk SUCCESSFUL

Am I about to be called home? I’m ready, but seriously…WTF?! I applied for all these hoping I might get lucky and get one or two…never expected to draw the coveted elk tag again…and I hit on everything but a doe/fawn antelope?!?! I’m going to need a couple of new freezers and some serious strategy! And I bought a 10$ raffle ticket for a governor’s wild bison tag yesterday….I honestly hope I don’t win it. I feel guilty and don’t even want to tell my friends out here. Good grief.

Congrats. Polish up that horseshoe. There is a ton of pissing and moaning on other sites about tag reductions and not drawing. My buddy went 0 for 3. My son and I drew antelope buck, but didn’t draw a doe tag. Looking forward to October.
