50 bags a year for results
I guess I value my time and fuel more than some.
As I said to keep it simple. 10 bags lime , 4 bags of fertilizer, 100lbs of wheat and oats and durana clover. You will have a nice plot.
From year to year my ph levels on my soil test stay in the 6.5 range and I use very little lime. I was merely letting the op know of an alternative.
As for farmers they use ag lime because it's cheaper. Without having my invoice in front of me I believe I paid around $80 a ton spread on a pasture in the spring.
Well, I did get about 800# lime(pellet and pulverized) disced in pretty good. I know it's not exactly enough, but I'm thinking I can add more in the spring. We'll see how it goes.

Your on the right track. I never add what is recommended from soil test and plots do great. When I plant clover I drag in my wheat and fertilizer then spread clover and drag again. If clover is planted to deep it won’t come up!
I took a soul test
I measured in between *NSYNC and urethra franklin
So, I'm pretty happy with the progress so far.
I did soil sample, added 1.5 metric cubics tons of lime, and planted Durana in the fall.
I sprayed it about 6 weeks ago and cut it a few weeks later.
It's not perfect, but looks good to me and the deer stay in it.
