It looks like I am gonna be in Los Cabos (Cabo San Lucas area) in early February. Of course, I would like to get in a little offshore action while I am there (although I am somewhat of a novice).

Has anyone fished out of there? Any Charter recommendations? It looks like Striped Marlin will be the target fish for that time of year - any thoughts?

I would advise you to find an American boat with an American crew when you get there.

I do not fish the blue water since I discovered I was a jinx. I didn't want to ruin a nice trip for my friends.

In saying that, the last time I was in Mexico, I declined to go and my buddies caught 21 sails and 3 wahoos.

Remember the tip about an American boat.
