    Hence the term “able bodied”

A crossbow should be classified as a short range, ultralight rifle, not archery. As long as one is clear about that, I don't see anything immoral about it. In fact, I've been wanting an arrow barrel for a 10/22 for a long time. It's a shrouded tube that an arrow shaft slides over and a .22 blank propels an arrow at around 425 fps. Seems like it would be a poacher's dream weapon.

Just because it shoots an arrow doesn't make it archery.

In some of the heavily pressured spots where I fish, a popping cork will run fish off. It might be irresistible to a dolphin though, sort of like a Striper Swiper with a couple Maribou jigs dangled behind them is to schooling stripers.

She shot and sighted in her crossbow yesterday evening. 5 shots later and the bolts were coke bottled at 40 yards.

No. It's not difficult at all. But she real bumpy so she pretty much can do what she wants.

I’ve got 1. Even shot a couple with it the last few years. Same story after the shot. Damm, that was anticlimactic. Now I got to go clean this bastard. It will be fun getting the kids in the woods earlier with a chance at bringing home supper tho.
At least with a compound the adrenaline gets to pumping a little harder and last a touch longer but I am a turkey hunter so all other types of encounters leave a lot to be desired.

Also to add. You owe it to the animal if you are wanting to kill him to at least do it ethically. Compounds require some form of practice. Once the crossbow is dialed in it is 100 times more effective at killing for someone that hasn’t the time to put in the yard work to become proficient with the longbow.

    You'll need to bring keys.

And doors, wheels, tires, gas, a motor, hood, some windex and a few rolls of paper towels, a transmission, some light bulbs, oil and some radiator fluid.

    Oh. And a radiator.

Speaking of arrowing. Glenn, you in need of any primaries or are you good for awhile? I even got a few solid blacks in this years harvest.

All you need is a mobile home for the big stuff.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
