Getting the kids on board with a program is easy. Getting the parents to “buy in” is a little more tricky. Most middle aged mothers that watched that video prob loves it and I’m sure that’s the intent.

Daddy made him a long snapper, assistant head coach, then tight end coach at Oklahoma and God forsaken Georgia.

He has energy and has recruited well for SC and a SC native. He has never coached for Saban so there’s a chance.

Lou Holtz was a legendary coach with a proven track record. He went heavy on the JuCO route to try and build the talent in that program to make them relevant, it didn’t work. Beamer is doing the same thing with the transfer portal, taking kids who weren’t good enough to start but evidently believe the coaches they committed to are wrong. That’s a lot of ego and mediocre talent to reign into a cohesive team.
