    same thing happened to me. I never got around to retaking the class. Two years later I called and explained what happened, they said "no problem" and I had a new one 2 weeks later. Give them a ring.

    I let mine expire and called a former SLED agent friend asking what I needed to do. He said don't worry about it and send in the renewal form like it was fine. So, I did and the new one showed in the mail some time later.

    My grace period is way over. I started my ankle Feb 2020 then Covid came the next month. Mine expired April 2020. Honestly, the thought never crossed my mind.

    Yeah, just send it in. My wife lets hers expire and sent it in anyway. She had her renewed CWP two weeks later.

    The right to “bear” arms…….doesn’t bear mean carry??? Why do I have to have a piece of paper to allow me to do something the constitution already told me I could do?

    No charge for renewals as of August 2021 when they revised law to allow open carry.
    Mine expired April 2021. I submitted hard copy renewal by mail (required) January 2022 and received renewed CWP in February.
