    Default Jon Boats

Who has basic jon boats in stock? Looking for maybe a 1448. Preferably a Mod V. I've checked with all my work dealers and not much luck. Most have loaded out ones but no plain jon boats. Will post a looking for USED in the Trading Post

Check with Sportsman's supply in Elberton GA. They usually have a few sitting on the yard. I think they're Alwelds. 706-283-7830

Didn't A K McCallum in Fayetteville stock basic bare bone boats at one time?

Seels in Charleston used to always have quite a few alumacrafts stacked up. Have you tried calling them?

So, the Alumacraft MV148 is what I was really looking for. Texted my dealer in Lake City, Florida. He said they haven't had a regular jon boat since Covid. And that a lot of the builders quit making regular ones as there was not enough money in it. And yes, Alumacraft is no longer producing the MV1448.

Thanks but I just need a boat. Have a 15 yami and a trailer. My old 1982 14 foot Palco that I got new in 82 burned up in a yard fire at my Mom's a couple weeks ago. Glad the boat was where it was or the dock would have burned down.

They would probably sell it without motor and trailer...

They offered to break a package up for me last year, just wasn't the exact boat I wanted.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    Would you consider a 1548?

Find me a little 12 or 10 footer in your call around searching. I need one for the beaver pond.
