    It's possible of course, but rare.
    They are stupid reliable, sounds like you didn't have a mechanical FBW issue that needed repairing and left you stranded.
    I speak from a Suzuki perspective only, two large Suzuki dealers that I personally know
    the service managers in NC and SC have been selling them for years and have never had a single FBW issue.
    I also run a FBW Suzuki. Was concerned about going with FBW and did a ton of due diligence before.
    Will never go back to cables.

    Some may think there is a degree of glamour to work for a boat manufacturer but if you've never toured/been around the "back of the house" especially in the area where they are laying up/popping molds/trimming the ruff edges with reciprocating saws and the list goes on, it's far from glamour.
    One tends to learn more when using ones eyes and ears....instead of running their mouth!
