She had the same look in her eyes as that lion the other day. I imagine she annihilated that critter if there was a stick anywhere in sight...

Dang it!!! Something wrong with this video??
“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965

The mouths of monitor lizards have a lot of vile bacteria. They bite things and, when the victim succumbs to the bacterial infection, the monitor feeds on their carrion. I hope the girl got immediate medical treatment for secondary infections.

That's not a monitor. Monitors are big. They have rotting meat stuck in their teeth. And they drool. They bite animals and track them as they die from blood poisoning. Vile creatures if you ask me.

Yep, I think you're right. I found a youtube were someone was bitten by a crocodile monitor - it was way nasty - stitches and sliced tendons. I don't think it was a monitor.
