Default Cleaning .22 suppressor with a soda blaster

I've got an integrally suppressed .22 barrel that has "K" baffles. It's tedious to clean so I decided to try using an old portable sandblaster loaded with off the shelf Arm and Hammer baking soda. Holy cow! It worked great. It's way easier than trying to get in every nook and cranny with a wire brush or a dental pick. The baking soda gets everywhere but it comes off with a blast of compressed air. I had to constantly shake the soda reservoir to keep it feeding but it took off the caked crud like magic.

    Will eat/sand aluminum

    Try walnut media instead

Ask KRT. He used it to clean valves on ecoboost engines

Common sense is not a gift. It's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone else who doesn't have it.

it'll eat wood too but the baffles are made of steel so it works great.
