    Based on what criteria? That particular season, total college career, NFL career, etc? All that stuff absolutely matters.

    ...and Warrick Dunn should be way up on this list. He was as good or better than Reggie Bush in college and definitely in the League.

    NFL results should have zero bearing on who should have won the Heisman. It's not a look back award. It's supposed to be based on the most outstanding college player that season.

    He would be behind Deion. In fact, I’m changing my vote to Deion.

    I think Tommie Frazier should have won it over Eddie George in '95.

    Not reading a Finebaum article, but in no particular order, based upon college stats only;

    Peyton and McCaffrey

    No, he was the Heisman coke head who couldn’t score against Clemson.
    When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

    Easily Peyton Manning and I just read the title.
    Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    You're absolutely correct. Shut this thread down.

    Uhhh, Charles Woodson was a "decent" player, on offense, defense, and special teams. You know, since he did all those things at pretty level. But yeah, let's go with your response.

    UM also split the "natty" with Nebraska that year, so there's that, too.

    ...AND Randy Moss was 3rd in that Heisman vote, so Peyton would've placed behind him, too if Randy hadn't been at a I-AA school.
