Default Tesla technology installed in 2006 Land Cruiser

I'm sure this exists for other older model vehicles where the double-din replacement does not exist

I would like to replace the aftermarket unit I have in my 99 and go back to buttons and dials. I personally hate a touch screen.

I looked at getting that system a while back. Made me nervous since everything in my 2003 (climate, radio, etc) is hooked up to the factory unit. I'll keep rolling with what I have until it craps out. I don't use the factory GPS anyways.

If any of you guys go this route with an 06, I'll take the old top portion off of your hands.

And I’m over here proud of my new Kenwood system and backup camera.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I put in an aftermarket system in my Sequoia, in the double DIN space. Crutchfield had a nice kit that made the installation easy and looked factory with the new molding they provide. The fact that I can get wireless Apple CarPlay is a game-changer. I have the Limited model with JBL and the system preserves everything. Since Toyota did not change the design of the interior for 15 years (it will for 2023) mine looks like or if not better than a new one without looking like some teenager hack job. It also preserves my steering wheel controls. I highly recommend it. MG

the original stuff is bulletproof. the land cruiser is engineered to last for decades. that new stuff will crap out in a few years or be outdated.
