My family and I thankfully dodged a bullet. The storm coming in to our south saved us from the worst of it. Tampa Bay is having the water pushed out of it into the Gulf due to wind direction so no flooding except for rain.

    Thank you.

Now we'll see if the Charleston house gets water. Two houses, one storm.

Pretty wild what the wind direction/intensity can do to water, look at the water levels for tampa bay

The shift South in the last two days took it from Tampa to my brother’s front door in Ft. Myers. Hope the new roof stays on and they stay dry.

Thank y'all. Many are being hammered. God be with those folks. Reports of storm surge over the roofs of houses on the barrier islands.

Anyone have any good idea on which of the models have the most accurate track record?

One model puts the eye over Charlotte on Saturday, and two others have it going through the Anderson/Greenville area.

    ???

Euro is usually more accurate, but they have no idea what it will do when it gets back to the Atlantic. High pressure ridge offshore has the WX people convinced it can't head out to sea...
