I carry one sometimes for deer if I am hunting tight cover. 308 Win.

Most of my Encore’s use is for a short truck gun with the .22-250 barrel on it.

After Mike Bellm worked on it, it shoot well.

Had a couple from 44 magand 30-06 pistol form up to 7 mag and 50cal rifle. Still have a few contenders and spare barrels. Check out Haus of Arms or Mike Bell for parts

Still have a Contender in 30-30. Been a few since I've shot anything with it, though.

I've got an Encore carbine in .17HMR that's heading to the gun show tomorrow. I've only had it out a time or two in 10+ years, so it's time to find it a new home.

I never got around to putting it in the TP, but it comes with a new case, 116 rounds of .17HMR ammo, some tools, and a Pentax Lightseeker scope is available at a good price.

    * It turns out it’s not going to rain today so no gun show. Things to do. Will post this rifle in the TP.
