    Wouldn't most of those players have been recruited by the previous coach? I like Kirbs but they really aren't his players.

    If Venables is not self-aware enough to know whether he's on the sidelines or in the field of play, I don't think his coaching stints will ever be long enough to ever threaten Saban/Bryant/etc or even Sweeny's or Spurrier's legacies.

    Sperryier has 1 natty. Need to put him down in the next tier of coaches with Les Miles. The Legendary Tier must have multiple Natties

    It will be interesting enough to see if he has a get back coach this year. My guess is he will not which to me means all of that fire and intensity at Clemson was just for show. It'd be awfully hard to bitch at any of your linemen for jumping offsides or a false start if you as the head coach can't keep up with where the sidelines are.

    If you noticed, my list of coaches was in descending order of natties. Interestingly, the NCAA.COM webpage only includes coaches with three or more so Sweeny and Spurrier are both out of that one...
