    I'm sure you'll find your own special way to commemorate that moment, but I would encourage you to definitely find a way to preserve that memory for him.

    I had the joy of sitting next to my oldest a few years ago when he called up and killed his first one all on his own. It was one heck of an experience.

    He was borrowing an old slate call that had been my favorite slate for a long time. When he handed it back to me he asked where he could get one just like it. So after he went to bed that night I got it out and scrolled around the side of it, "I hope you will always love them like I have, but make them rue the day you were born! Love dad" and slipped it in his vest along with the striker he had used. Seeing him continue to use and appreciate that old call is pretty special.

    Congratulations again, that's a cool achievement!
