He looks like he's got some experience cowboying or assisting vets on equine visits.

    Brave man.

Reminds me of the time over Christmas break my knob year at the citadel, I caught a 7pt in a hog trap, small door and he wouldn't get out and finally hung his antler up in the panel. So i figured i was man enough to grab his antlers, unstuck him and drag him out. The 45 seconds following me getting his antlers loose was one of the worse ass whippings I've had in my life. We both fell through the small door and he took off right into a pine tree, feel over stone cold, came to and took off.

Hahahahahaha! I bet that was the longest 45 seconds of your life.

I've been drug around by a calf. Never occurred to me to want to try and wrestle a deer. I'd saw his horns off before I tried what you did.

In '83 or '84, my father refused to not let go of a lead rope attached to a donkey's halter who suddenly decided to run off the ridge to escape some horses coming his way. The old man's body was parallel to the ground like he was in flight for about three seconds down that steep bank and then he landed and bounced a couple times before he let go of the rope. It was like watching a Wile E Coyote plan gone awry.
