A few more. I'm reeling an 8XD down to 17 ft. The school is at 25-31. They get excited when they see/hear/feel it coming, but only a few would swim all the way up and hit the bait.

Dropping a small jig into them seemed to work well.

I see that takes a trained eye.

I just bought some Storm Arashi deep cranks and they are rated to 25 ft deep but we both know thats proably more on th 18' range too

CD, That is some good screen shots and catching. Brandon has taken me out a few times trying to show me the in and outs of this active target and I still struggle with. Every now and then I catch one and think I’ve got it figured it out, then struggle. It is hard to believe it’s gotten to this after having fished with flashers-lol.

I caught two (one pounders) on one crankbait years back. Thought I had a giant.

Seen my dad do that several times

We were on Murray a few years back and I caught two on the same top water plug, smaller fish hit it first, was about 10ft from the boat and WHAM, something hit it again, line went slack for just a second snd then pulled tight and the rod doubled back over, pretty neat for sure

Got my Garmin 106SV in from BassPro this week and now just waiting on the LVS34 Livescope transducer to complete the install on my kayak. Looking forward to seeing what this forward facing sonar is all about first hand!
Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL
