Amazing how a camera shrinks a fish but adds 10 pounds to me every time I take a picture.

Damn what a b-liner! I shoulda took the bottom gear Sunday, had hundreds of queen triggers under the boat at one point.

I like the 12" ones, gutted, scaled and fried whole.

We had a monster b liner like that the other day.
Didn’t measure him but I’d guess around 20 inches

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

You did not find them like that Wednesday. Those bliners are half the size of the ones we have caught. I've literally seen tens of thousands of them in my life (remember I dive too). These were the biggest 5 that I have ever seen. Most "footballs" around here are probably in the 3lb range. These were almost 6 lbs.

So, think about what a 6lb bass looks like. Most of you country boys know how big a 6lb bass is. Now, color that bass red. That's what we got. I look at your table and I don't see any bliners close to that.

Ended up being pretty nice out there. We hit a pretty interesting squall around 2:30 or so. Had to be 40mph winds. Ocean turned white with caps, but we punched out of it pretty quickly before it got too hairy. Last 10-15 miles was just standard chop.

That’s because none of em are anywhere near that.

Most folks around know how big the cleaning station is at Georgetown Landing.

There’s 3 or 4 that are 20”, not all of them, I’m not a photographer. Sorry I didn’t break out the tape and scale for a B-liner, my bad. I just filet them and throw them in a pile.

I was more concerned getting the Scamp in the pic. Of course Bog’ll tell me it was barely legal and weighed 5#.
