    Default AR-10 Platforms

Those of you that hunt with them, do use use a standard 5-6 position adjustable stock or a fixed stock?

If fixed which one do you use?

Adjustable stock on mine. Beside making it fit more compactly on the ATV, I keep it a notch shorter while in tree stands that might offer a shot on my weak side. Twisting to shoot to the right as a right hand shooter is a bit easier with a short stock.

If you plan on using NV or thermal you may want to go with adjustable because sometimes you have to get right up on those scopes to cut out glare and such.
