1 gallon of water, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup salt. Dissolve the dry in the wet and brine that breast for 24 hours.

Slow smoke till about 150-160 on the fat end and let it rest for a few.

You can baste with a glazing sauce if you wish.

Something different and not as labor intensive but still very good and NOT dry.

H4614 passed the house. Now on to the senate. Thanks for your help. Not quite done yet. Keep those emails going.

Sadly it died in the senate. We have to start from scratch next session.

I spoke to David Vaughn, the Republican primary winner for SC House District 27 about this. He's replacing Garry Smith who sponsored this bill. He said he would support the right to hunt our public land 7 days a week. So at least we have that.

Now would be a good time to begin. Thanks for the heads up, and welcome.

Thanks, glad to be here! Had to pull strings to get approved. I'll try not to cause too much trouble.

As far as my knowledge goes, H.4614 was not added to any bills and did not make any progress in the Senate. Thus, the bill is dead for this year and must be refiled to start back at square one next year.

    Now for the good news.

DNR has heard the people loud and clear. I think they are planning to still move forward with trying to allow Sunday hunting on certain WMAs. Because the prohibition on Sunday hunting is contained in a regulation, they can make the change via a regulatory submission. I believe that is DNR’s intent and we will receive a regulatory submission with changes to Sunday hunting late fall.

I know this is not necessarily what people want to hear, but there was a lot of concern about doing a blanket opening of all WMAs for Sunday hunting. "

A lot of concern by neighboring land owners or who exactly?

    Done
It's not enough to simply tolerate the 2nd Amendment as an antiquated inconvenience. Caring for the 2nd Amendment means fighting to restore long lost rights.

My guess is that line is a load of BS. The only people most concerned are probably the timber companies who want to maintain the attractiveness to pay $1500/season to hunt on Sundays.

No!! Please spend extra time detailing this! I promise I'm very interested and will fall for it since I definitely didn't do a 5 second forum search on it to know where this is going.
