    Default Bruce Willis retiring

Bruce Willis is "stepping away" from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia.

The 67-year-old actor's family shared the news on Instagram Wednesday, writing alongside a photo of Bruce on Instagram, "To Bruce's amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities."
Aphasia is a condition that robs you of the ability to communicate. It can affect your ability to speak, write and understand language, both verbal and written.

Aphasia typically occurs suddenly after a stroke or a head injury. But it can also come on gradually from a slow-growing brain tumor or a disease that causes progressive, permanent damage (degenerative).

Damn, that's too bad. He's always seemed like one of the few good guys out there. I wish him the best...

Why couldn't it happen to all of the dip shits they've got in Hollywood?

    Fair and reasonable point.

What the heck does that mean? It was "his job" to get... "... a stroke or a head injury. But it can also come on gradually from a slow-growing brain tumor or a disease that causes progressive, permanent damage (degenerative)."?

    Just curious...

I think what you are missing is biggie saying Bruce is quitting his job which is acting. Knowing biggie he’s not referring to the man’s medical condition. That's also why he said when he quits he's going to post to Instagram.

People quit their jobs everyday for a multitude of reasons but it's not necessary to post in on social media.

Lesser known but still notable. Paul Herman played Beansy Gaeta on The Sopranos, most notably, but was in a slough of other roles including Goodfellas and The Irishman.

Gotcha... I figured I was just missing something as it didn't sound like Biggie to be cold about Willis' condition.

I like the way Damon Wayans spells "bom" during the freeway chase.
