You think them pond fish mighta caught on to the disturbance of their buddies being yanked out that water beforehand?

Possibly but this was a about a 15-20 acre pond. My first cast were only where the wind blew me, straight across the pond. Fishing with a paddle or from the bank you could easily catch 50 to 60 fish out of that pond.

I caught 13 fish in 13 casts before we put the motor in the pond and no after but i dont think i caught them all. I have caught plenty of fish with the trolling motor running full blast. Lake fish hear that all the time pond fish do not. Sometimes it spooks them sometimes not. Most ponds and 99 island are places it is best to use the stealth approach. IMHO But you can fish your way and I will fish mine.

I believe I was the one who brought up the "be friggin quiet" tip.
My pet peeve is folks closing hatch lids loud as heck and stepping down from the front and rear deck like an elephant

C--i agree with paddles hitting the boat and such.
D-i dont think using a trolling motor is why you catch zero fish.

Beating Jess is almost impossible, so quite an accomplishment for 2th.
