If you just want another pet get a dog, cat, hamster, pot belly pig..

I don’t see a purpose in having livestock unless it benefits you in some way. Hence the “stock” part of the name.

Also adds to liability if it gets out and someone hits it etc. check your homeowners

When people say pet cow, they usually mean mini. If so, be ready to shell out 4500-6500 for a one similar to the ones she's likely hearting pictures of on the webs. (Mini Highland cross)

Otherwise, mini dexter or mini/micro zebu might be worth a look.

And all of the above do well with goats.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

There are a lot of great pets out there. A cow ain’t on the list. Tell the old lady to pick from the normal pet list

Umm. Bud, I wasn’t directing that at you. That’s why it’s in quotations. Have you never heard that expression?

Not taking anything away from a cow as a pet which is a great idea, but my nephews have goats and two donkeys. They seem to jive well together, are kinda cool, and very low maintenance.

I had a couple of tigers, but they made lousy pets. I opened up their cages a few days ago and let them go.

Train that cow to pull a cart and you've got yourself an ox.

Donkey will kill a goat in a heartbeat. Minis would be ok, especially with Nigerians.
