Congrats by the way. Sounds like it would be a lot of fun hunting behind Jake.

    Nice job
I went squirrel hunting with a dog for the first time this past Sunday
Will never hunt them again unless it’s with a dog

    Nice work.

Is there a squirrel dog out there that could double as a family pet? Everyone I have ever met is a little on the neurotic side.

A feist, good friend of mine has one that will go toe to toe with Jake in the woods but sleeps in the bed with his little boy every night

Curs are a one owner dog. Jake’s not mean by any stretch of the imagination and is great around kids but I’m the only person he’ll listen to as far as handling him goes

DC, Jake, #3 and me had a ball today. Barnwell County fox squirrel hunt didn’t disappoint, but watching Jake was worth the trip. WG’s first squirrel.

Stews, perlo, fried, I’ve smoked them in a pan of broth and made pulled bbq with them which actually makes for a decent sandwich. A friend of mines grandmother used to make us dumplings with them. The real secret is to give away as many as possible.
