    Default Montana Archery Elk

    Throwing this out there to see if anyone has any interest. Looking for someone to join me this year for a mid September archery hunt. None of my regular hunting buddies are interested in this type of hunt. I have been on this hunt for the last four years and hunted solo. I am very familiar with the area we hunt and have had good success with two bulls killed in four years. Total cost is under $5000 and includes airfare to Bozeman, license, outfitter and rental car.

    This is public land with the outfitter taking us in on horseback. Camp and meals are provided. There will be a max of six hunters in camp. This is a draw hunt and and the deadline to apply is 4/1. No guarantees, but I have drawn 4 yrs in a row. Hunters using a licensed outfitter do get some priority.

    I'd be interested for 2023, If I wasn't doing a week each in Rome Italy with the wife, and illinois/ Missouri for deer this year I'd go.
