    Duels are a lot of fun, but I sure wouldn't want to own them... talk about a ton of work to maintain...

    Also, I would classify them as great tuna reels, but entirely too much for dolphin and wahoo, and not useful on most marlin if you are aggressive in the way you handle your boat. Just my two cents to the duel v. tiagra v. international.

    Anyone tried the new tiagra A series with the ratcheting drags?

    Good god almighty. When did everyone get this zen/buddhist outlook on catch and release. On a website that is all about hunting and fishing who gives a damn if you catch a marlin and stick a piece of dynamite up its ass. Not me.

    If catch and release is your thing than more power to you, but at some point all that fuel/time/energy/money put into going offshore needs to reap its rewards.

    Hell the fish may have accidently got killed, who knows? The one I caught like that was very exhausted when I released her.

    When 100% of your outdoor experience comes from watching the Oudoor Life Channel, it is not hard to imagine that certain people's wittle feewings get hurted when they see a dead animal.
