I heard nothing but doom and gloom from that state. Not on your farm apparently!

Stage flood, pressure management. Very careful how we hunt and when we hunt. Didn’t hunt the place in Dec due to warm temps. All roads are gated with UTV travel only. That and sitting across the river from a place that holds 100-200k regularly doesn’t hurt lol

That sucks. Spend all that money and sweat just to hunt 30 days. Dang.

Well the farm is owned and share cropped not leased so it pays for itself and the sweat is almost as much fun as the hunting. We’ll head out in may to start on projects for next season.

Great post. Things would be better everywhere if more had this outlook!

I’ve long wanted to be DM1 when I grow up.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
